Missing NDBs?
The following list shows NDBs with 5 or more loggings in the similar
event in April 2004 (a very long time ago), but not reported by anyone
this time.
(They may have been withdrawn, changed frequency or ident or,
often the case for offshore beacons, just be temporarily out of service).

New NDBs?
The following had 7 or more loggings in this event but were not
reported by anyone in April 2004.
No - we haven't gained lots of new beacons during the 6 years!
Most of them are there because of better reception this time
or 'extra' island beacons that we've added or changes of Ident.

(If I don't have an accurate Lat./Long. for some listeners, their
distances above may be a few km in error. Also, a few NDB
locations are not known with high accuracy.)
We listened for the same targets in April 2004. You will find the
table comparing statistics THEN and NOW at the end of the Excel tables.
Conditions were very different this time. I think we are still getting some
benefit from the sunspot cycle and the PERSEUSes and other data recorders
must be helping just a bit! The average results for the seven listeners who
took part in both events show a VERY definite improvement. Individual and
average results are also shown for the other twelve listeners.
I hope to complete the Rest of the World results later today.
Good listening
Brian
