Finally the expedition report from Parkalompolo where I spent the last week. Not the very top conditions for the location but for me, not having listened before from there during winter, it was good enough. I settled for a mix of AM and NDB listening.
Sometimes you get tired of listening to LW and then you change to AM and vice versa. It turned out that beacons from North America often preceded the NA conditions in the medium wave band. Of course several new northern Canadians, at least one each from the provinces west of the Great Lakes.
A total of 7 Alaskans were heard with a surprisingly great spread of locations. Also some northern Russians.
Most distant was PNG which was heard soon after that 4QD-1548 had been logged. No other Papuans noted and nothing from Hawaii.
Also distant two from Brazil, of which SAC is UNID until a frequency change has been verified.
