Uutisia Norjan Svalbard:sta:
Greetings, I found the interesting website below
http://www.navarea-xix.no/ ...
We radio enthusiasts know one Norwegian LML Navtex station at 8416.5 kHz on the Isfjord in Svalbard. The station information contains the station invitation letter A,
8416.5 $19A Isfjord SVB JQ68tb BCST (at) 0630, 1830 (Polar region); Callsign LML, but the message below starts with the letter P? Has the drive letter been changed?
Would I know if there has been a change and if these messages were sent from Svalbard?
Yours,
Hello Raimo
You have received our HF NBDP 8mhz navtex transmission from Isfjord, Svalbard. This transmission has the letter P. The normal navtex transmittet on 518khz from Isfjord has the letter A. Vardø has C and Bodø has B.
We also transmit from Isfjord on HF-NBDP 4mhz with the letter Q
Hope this explaines your question.
Mvh./Best regards
