CLE142 - FINAL DETAILS

Hi all,

Our 142nd co-ordinated listening event starts this Friday. Why not join in,
even if you only have an hour or so to spare over the weekend. We are
including the extra night because Easter Monday is a holiday for most of us.

Days: Friday 22nd - Tuesday 26th April 2011
Times: Start and end at midday your LOCAL time
Range: 400 - 419.9 kHz

Just log all the NDBs that you can identify with their nominal (listed)
frequencies in the range - it includes 400 kHz, but not 420 kHz -
plus any UNIDs that you come across there.
Our last close look at this frequency range was in CLE127 in Jan 2010
when 50 of us took part (to see whether your log was among them, please see
the list below).

Please send your CLE log to the List (no attachments and a plain text email
if possible) with CLE142 at the start of its title. Show on each log line:

# The Date (or Day No.)
# The Time in UTC (the day changes at 00:00 UTC).
# kHz - the nominal published frequency, if known.
# The Call Ident.

Please show those main items FIRST.
Any other optional details such as Location and Distance go LATER in
the same line.
If you send any interim logs, please also send a 'Final' (complete) log.

As always, tell us your own location and brief details of the equipment that
you were using.

I will send the usual 'Any More Logs?' email at about 17:00 UTC on Wednesday
so that you can check that your log has been found OK.
Do make sure that your log has arrived on the List by 08:00 UTC on Thursday
28th April at the very latest.
The combined results should be completed on the same day.

CLE142 seeklists prepared from all the loggings on Rxx .

18 of the 19 listeners also took part in the January 2010 CLE when we used
the same frequency range. You will find the table comparing statistics THEN
and NOW at the end of the Excel tables. No surprise that the average
statistics all showed a big fall, mainly due to the different time of year
and the end of the sunspot minimum.
